Plaw, Inc. runs this site. Here is what we collect, why, and who handles it.

What we collect

• Booking details. When you book a call on /meet, Cal.com collects your name, your email, and your answer to one question, and passes them to us so we can hold the slot and prepare. Basis: your request is the instruction. We keep these details until the meeting happens, then delete them within 30 days.
• The email list. If you subscribe to essays, we keep your address until you unsubscribe. Basis: your subscription, and every email carries an unsubscribe link.
• Server logs. Cloudflare serves the site and keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for their standard retention period, to keep the site up and to block abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in a site that works and is not abused.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without following you across sites. The booking embed on /meet is served by Cal.com and may set its own; their privacy policy covers it.

Who processes it

Cloudflare (hosting, logs, analytics) and Cal.com (booking). When the essay list opens, we will name its provider here before the first email goes out.

Where it goes

Plaw, Inc. is a company in San Francisco, United States. If you are in the UK or EU and write to us, your details are processed in the US by us, and by Cloudflare and Cal.com as our processors. Cal.com may show servers closer to you. We do not sell what you send us, and we do not share it beyond running the site and the call you asked for.
